2000W Fan Heater 14 Models at 2 kW
A 2000W fan heater is the standard whole-room size in the electric fan heater market, and it is the size we build most: 14 of the 25 fan heater models in our catalogue top out at 2,000 W.
Every one of those 14 is a dual-power unit, not a fixed 2 kW appliance. The control selects 1,000 W for background heat or 2,000 W for fast warm-up, which is what makes the same moulding sell into bedroom, office and workshop programmes from one tool. Bodies range from the 0.85 kg FS501 to the 1.80 kg FS-601, so the range covers desk-top and free-standing applications inside the same 2 kW band.
Heating elements differ across the 14. four use a PTC ceramic element, which self-limits as it warms and holds its output as the airflow slows; the rest use conventional wire elements. All of them carry overheat protection, and every model on this page is rated 220–240 V ~ 50/60 Hz. Container loading is the other reason this band dominates: the lightest models load 10,000 pcs per 40HQ, while the wall-mountable FS-601, FS-602 units load 3,300 pcs.

2,000 W brings a normal room up to temperature quickly, then switches to the 1,000 W setting to hold it, which is the pattern most retail programmes specify.

How many watts is a 2000W fan heater?
A 2000W fan heater draws 2,000 W on its high setting, which is roughly 2 kWh for every hour it runs at that setting. All 14 models on this page also run at 1,000 W, so the actual draw is half that on the low setting.
Is 2000W enough to heat a room?
2,000 W suits a normal bedroom, living room or office. Our 25-model range also includes a 3,000 W unit, the FS-3000, for larger or poorly insulated spaces.
Do these 2000W heaters have a thermostat?

What is the difference between the PTC and wire-element 2000W models?
