400W / 800W / 1200W / 1600W Quartz Heater 20 Models in the Low-Power Band
The 400 / 800 / 1,200 / 1,600 W settings are the steps most quartz heaters are sold on, and they are the steps that decide what a unit can share a circuit with. 20 of the 32 quartz heater models we build offer at least one of those four settings — and on most of them it is not a single fixed output but one position of a multi-step control.
The band matters because nearly all of these models are stepped rather than single-output. 11 of the 20 offer a 1,200 W setting, 10 offer 1,600 W, 15 offer 800 W and 11 offer 400 W — and on every one of them those steps are positions on a multi-step control, not the only output. The FS3000A2 steps 400 / 800 / 1,200 / 1,600 W across four tubes; the FS-055 runs the same four settings across four tubes on two faces; the FS-05 and the FS-051 stop at 400 / 800 / 1,200 W on three tubes. Because each tube is switched separately on the button-control models, the low settings are real radiant output rather than a reduced blower.
For a buyer the practical effect is that one tooling set serves several markets. Giftboxes run from 538 × 125 × 140 mm to 705 × 225 × 490 mm, container loading runs 900 to 6,636 pcs per 40HQ, and the 5 portable models in this group carry a handle. 16 of the 20 carry a tip-over switch and all are rated 220–240 V ~ 50/60 Hz.

Where the Low Power Settings Sell
The 400 and 800 W steps exist because a full-power quartz heater is too much for some of these jobs.
Bedrooms and overnight use
A 400 or 800 W step holds a bedroom without running the unit at full output, which is the setting most domestic buyers leave it on.
Caravans, cabins and backup supply
Lower steps draw less from a limited supply. The lightest model here is the FS-1714 at 1.20 kg, and five of the 20 are described as portable in their own specification.

400W to 1600W Quartz Heaters — Common Questions
How many watts should a quartz heater be?
A domestic quartz heater usually runs 400 to 1,600 W on its selectable steps, and up to 2,400 W on the larger models in our range. The right figure depends on the room: radiant heat warms what it points at, so a 800 W step is often enough at close range.
Is a 400W quartz heater any use?
Yes at close range. A 400 W tube is a directional radiant source, so it heats the person or surface in front of it rather than the whole room — the same reason patio heaters work outdoors at low power.
Do these models run at only one of the four settings?
No. Almost every model on this page offers two to five settings, and the 400 / 800 / 1,200 / 1,600 W steps are positions on that control. 1,200 W is available on 11 of the 32 models in the quartz range and 1,600 W on 10 of them.
Can the 1,600W setting be used continuously?
These are domestic quartz heaters with tip-over protection — 16 of the 20 models here carry it. They are designed for normal room use, not for continuous industrial duty; send the duty cycle you need and we will confirm the build.
