Desktop Ceramic Heaters

Desktop Ceramic Heaters 2 Models for Desks & Workstations

Two of our ceramic heaters are specified for desk and workstation use. FS-HC1756S is the desk model: a 260 × 260 × 470 mm body on a 230 V 50 Hz supply with a VDE plug, sized by its own product page for an office, a home study, a workshop bench or a reception position.

The second is FS-730, 280 × 280 × 460 mm, which our own product copy describes as compact enough to sit behind a counter or under a desk where customers do not see it. Between them the two bodies cover the two shapes of desk heating: one on the desk beside the keyboard, one under it on the floor.

Both run the same 1,000 W and 2,000 W settings. The 1,000 W step is the one that matters at a desk — it holds the working position through a shift without drawing the 2,000 W figure, which is usually what an employer or a facilities manager objects to. Loading is 1,745 to 1,920 units per 40HQ depending on body.

Where They Sell

Where desktop ceramic heaters sell

Desk and workstation heating is bought in quantity by organisations rather than by individual households.

Office & co-working

One unit per desk position where a central system under-serves a corner or a glass-fronted floor. The 1,000 W setting is what makes them acceptable on a shared circuit.

Workshops & benches

A bench position that cannot be heated by a building system. The compact body sits on or beside the bench and warms the operator within a minute of switch-on.

Reception & counters

Reception desks and shop counters where staff are static and doors open constantly. FS-730 is the model we build for that position — it tucks under a counter out of customer sight.

FAQ

Desktop Ceramic Heater — Frequently Asked Questions

Which model is the desktop one?

FS-HC1756S is the model our own product page specifies for desks and workstations — a 260 × 260 × 470 mm body built for an office, a home study, a workshop bench or a reception position. FS-730 is the second desk-capable body in the range.

Will a desktop ceramic heater trip an office circuit?

On the 1,000 W setting it draws half of the 2,000 W figure, which is the setting these units are expected to run on through a working day. Both models have the 1,000 W step; 2,000 W is for a cold start rather than continuous running.

How big is the desk model?

FS-HC1756S measures 260 × 260 × 470 mm and sits on the 260 × 260 mm footprint — the smaller of the two desk bodies. FS-730 is 280 × 280 × 460 mm, so it is the one that goes on the floor rather than on the desk.

Can it sit under a desk instead of on it?

Yes — FS-730 is described on its own product page as compact enough to sit behind a counter or under a desk where customers do not see it. FS-HC1756S is the one sized for the desktop itself.

What is the smallest order quantity and how does it ship?

Packing is one unit per gift box, and the two bodies load at 1,745 to 1,920 units per 40HQ. There is no 20GP or 40GP figure published for this range — ask sales for a mixed-load plan if you want to combine bodies.

Can desktops be branded for our office supply catalogue?

Yes. Housing colour, logo, carton artwork, voltage and plug standard are all built to order, with 230 V 50 Hz and a VDE plug as the standard build. Ask for the ceramic heater catalogue and the test reports.
