Fan Heaters -- 25 Models
A fan heater, also called a blow heater, works by using a fan to pass air over a heat source such as a heating element. This heats up the air, which then leaves the heater and warms the surrounding room. They heat an enclosed space faster than a heater without a fan, but create some noise.
Electric fan heaters can be cheaper to build than other heaters because the fan carries heat away from the device, so it can be made smaller without overheating. The small amount of electricity used to drive the fan is converted into additional heat, so overall efficiency remains at 100 per cent. Capacity is limited by supply voltage, so 15 A is typical in 110-120 V countries.

Three Things That Make These Heaters Different
Why Choose a Fan Heater?
A fan heater moves the heat instead of waiting for it to drift. That is all it does, and it is why the same idea scales from a 1.5 kW bathroom unit to a 30 kW portable that will dry out a flooded building.
Six reasons fan heaters win on speed
Where it honestly loses
Head to head
| Fan heater | Ceramic / PTC heater | |
|---|---|---|
| Heating method | Wire or PTC element plus fan | PTC element plus fan |
| Time to warm air | Seconds | Seconds |
| Heat after switch-off | None | None |
| Noise | 35–65 dB | 40–65 dB |
| Area covered | Up to about 300 sq ft | Up to about 150 sq ft |
| Draw near set point | Holds rated wattage | PTC reduces draw as it warms |
| Surface temperature | Guards over 80°C on wire models | Guards under 60°C typical |
| Best used for | Fast, widespread heat; drying a space | Fast, low-risk heat in one room |
So which one should you choose?
Choose a fan heater if…
- You want the whole room warm quickly, not just the person sitting in front of it
- You need real airflow — drying a building, or heating a work space
- Three-phase power is available and you need 10 kW and up
- The heater runs in short bursts rather than all night
Choose a ceramic heater if…
- The heater runs overnight next to somebody sleeping
- Fabric, paper or dust sits close to the guard
- Element surface temperature is the main safety concern
- The room is small enough that 1.5 kW is genuinely enough
What that means for your order book
Fan heaters are really two businesses. The domestic 1.5–2 kW unit is a volume SKU sold on shelf appeal, price and the safety chain, and it is the model most importers buy by the container. The industrial 9–22 kW portable is a specification sale: the buyer is a tool hire company, a contractor or a plant engineer who cares about airflow, duty cycle, three-phase compatibility and how the frame survives being loaded into a van. Our fan heater line covers 25 models across domestic and industrial formats, with the CE / LVD / EMC / RoHS / ERP marks and OEM colour, logo, voltage and packaging from 30 to 45 days.
Warm-up, airflow, noise and three-phase figures follow published portable industrial fan heater specifications (9, 15, 18 and 22 kW classes) and the US Department of Energy guidance on small space heaters. Confirm the specification of the exact model before quoting.
Wholesale Fan Heaters from a China Factory
FirstSight manufactures fan heaters for importers, retailers and own-brand programmes. Our 25 models cover 500 W compact mini fan heaters for desks through to 2,000 W PTC ceramic fan heaters for living rooms, so you can stock a small space heater for personal use alongside a 2,000 W portable fan heater with overheat protection from a single supplier. A PTC ceramic fan heater holds its output steady as it warms and self-regulates on safety, while a wire-element fan heater remains the low-cost option for budget lines.
As a fan heater supplier in China we build to your market - CE, UKCA and SAA options, EU, UK, US and AU plugs, and your own logo, housing colour and packaging. Every unit is an electric fan heater with thermostat and automatic overheat cut-off, with a tip-over switch and cool-touch housing as standard, so a fan heater for bedroom use and a portable heater for office desks ship to the same specification. A 1,200 W ceramic heater with 2 heat settings, a 750 W mini fan heater for small rooms and a 2,000 W fast heating fan heater with cool fan mode for summer ventilation can all be built on the same tooling.
Wholesale pricing starts at low MOQ, with samples in 7-10 days and production in 30-45 days. Whether you need a quiet fan heater for bedroom use, a fan heater with remote for bedside control or an IP-rated fan heater for bathroom use, our engineering team can return a prototype to your specification within 7-10 days. As the fastest way to take the chill off a space, a PTC ceramic fan heater with 2 heat settings suits residential, hospitality and commercial programmes alike.
