The FS10-23A is a 10kW direct-fired diesel and kerosene heater from our 10kW to 190kW forced-air range. It burns diesel or kerosene in a 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber rated to 1000°C and blows the heated air straight into the working area through a high-power enclosed fan, so heat arrives within seconds of ignition. Direct-fired units raise the incoming air temperature by 40–60°C and are intended for well-ventilated sites with an air change rate high enough to carry the combustion products away — construction and renovation work, workshops, warehouses, barns, factories, dock yards and rail or road works. Portable 10kW Diesel Heater for Intermittent Use
The FS10-23A is a 10 kW direct-fired diesel heater in a portable chassis, built for spaces that are heated intermittently rather than continuously — a workshop used a few evenings a week, a garage, a service bay, a storage room that only needs warming while someone is working in it.
Intermittent use is exactly where a forced-air diesel heater beats anything else, because the full output is available within a minute or two of ignition instead of after a long warm-up. Its portability means one unit covers several positions on the same site without buying a second heater. The 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber is rated to 1000 degrees C, and the unit carries five protections: overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light. Fuel must be diesel or kerosene only.
