The FS115-20C is a 115kW direct-fired diesel and kerosene heater from our 10kW to 190kW forced-air range. It burns diesel or kerosene in a 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber rated to 1000°C and blows the heated air straight into the working area through a high-power enclosed fan, so heat arrives within seconds of ignition. Direct-fired units raise the incoming air temperature by 40–60°C and are intended for well-ventilated sites with an air change rate high enough to carry the combustion products away — construction and renovation work, workshops, warehouses, barns, factories, dock yards and rail or road works. The FS115-20C is a 115 kW direct-fired diesel heater sized for heavy-industry buildings with large open volumes — steel fabrication halls, foundry bays, heavy assembly shops and plant rooms where the building itself is the heating problem and the volume is measured in tens of thousands of cubic metres.
In this class the motor becomes the limiting component: a unit running at 115 kW for a full shift needs a fully enclosed motor sized for continuous industrial duty, or the bearings fail within a season. That is how this model is specified. The 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber is rated to 1000 degrees C, and the full protection set is fitted — overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light. Direct-fired operation requires well ventilated space. Fuel must be diesel or kerosene only.
