The FS150-20C is a 150kW direct-fired diesel and kerosene heater from our 10kW to 190kW forced-air range. It burns diesel or kerosene in a 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber rated to 1000°C and blows the heated air straight into the working area through a high-power enclosed fan, so heat arrives within seconds of ignition. Direct-fired units raise the incoming air temperature by 40–60°C and are intended for well-ventilated sites with an air change rate high enough to carry the combustion products away — construction and renovation work, workshops, warehouses, barns, factories, dock yards and rail or road works. The FS150-20C is a 150 kW direct-fired diesel heater for very large halls and remote project sites — mining camps, pipeline construction, wind farm assembly, port works and industrial halls where there is no gas supply and the electrical capacity is limited.
Independence from the grid is the design point: this heater works essentially on its fuel alone, with the electrical supply needed only for the fan, the ignition and the pump. That is what makes 150 kW of heat available at a remote site where the generator is already loaded and no other heating method is practical. The 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber is rated to 1000 degrees C, and the full protection set — overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light — is fitted. Direct-fired operation requires well ventilated space. Fuel must be diesel or kerosene only.
