The FS190-20C is a 190kW direct-fired diesel and kerosene heater from our 10kW to 190kW forced-air range. It burns diesel or kerosene in a 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber rated to 1000°C and blows the heated air straight into the working area through a high-power enclosed fan, so heat arrives within seconds of ignition. Direct-fired units raise the incoming air temperature by 40–60°C and are intended for well-ventilated sites with an air change rate high enough to carry the combustion products away — construction and renovation work, workshops, warehouses, barns, factories, dock yards and rail or road works. The FS190-20C is the largest model in the FS range, which runs from 10 kW to 190 kW. It is built for the coldest environments and the largest volumes, where only maximum output will hold a working temperature — arctic construction, cold storage assembly, large industrial halls in severe winter and open plant areas where the outside air itself has to be fought.
At 190 kW the unit is doing the work of a small boiler plant without any of the installation: it can be delivered, fuelled and running the same day, which is the reason this class exists for emergency and seasonal duty. The 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber is rated to 1000 degrees C, and the full protection set is fitted — overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light. Direct-fired operation requires well ventilated space. Fuel must be diesel or kerosene only.
