The FS20-19A is a 20kW direct-fired diesel and kerosene heater from our 10kW to 190kW forced-air range. It burns diesel or kerosene in a 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber rated to 1000°C and blows the heated air straight into the working area through a high-power enclosed fan, so heat arrives within seconds of ignition. Direct-fired units raise the incoming air temperature by 40–60°C and are intended for well-ventilated sites with an air change rate high enough to carry the combustion products away — construction and renovation work, workshops, warehouses, barns, factories, dock yards and rail or road works. 20kW Diesel Space Heater for Agricultural Buildings
The FS20-19A is a 20 kW diesel forced air heater sized for agricultural buildings, where the air change rate is high — a livestock shed, a workshop barn or a produce store with doors opening through the day — and where radiant heaters simply lose their output up the roof.
Forced air is the right answer in a building with high air change: the heated air is pushed into the volume and mixes, so the temperature is even at floor level instead of stratified at the ceiling. Simple controls mean any operator on the site can run it without training, and the 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber is rated to 1000 degrees C. Five protections are fitted: overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light. Fuel must be diesel or kerosene only, and the space must be well ventilated.
