The FS20-23A is a 20kW direct-fired diesel and kerosene heater from our 10kW to 190kW forced-air range. It burns diesel or kerosene in a 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber rated to 1000°C and blows the heated air straight into the working area through a high-power enclosed fan, so heat arrives within seconds of ignition. Direct-fired units raise the incoming air temperature by 40–60°C and are intended for well-ventilated sites with an air change rate high enough to carry the combustion products away — construction and renovation work, workshops, warehouses, barns, factories, dock yards and rail or road works. 20kW Diesel Forced Air Heater with Thermostat
The FS20-23A is the step up from 10 kW for the point where a single room is no longer enough. At 20 kW it holds a workshop, a small warehouse bay or a two-bay garage at temperature, and it is fitted with a thermostat so the burner pauses when the set point is reached instead of shutting the whole unit down and restarting it.
That thermostat behaviour is the difference in running cost: the fan keeps circulating while the burner idles, so the air temperature stays even and the heater is not drawing full fuel to reheat a space that has already cooled. The 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber is rated to 1000 degrees C for a long flame-side service life. Five protections are fitted as standard — overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light. Fuel must be diesel or kerosene only; petrol and bio-oil must never be used.
