The FS30-19A is a 30kW direct-fired diesel and kerosene heater from our 10kW to 190kW forced-air range. It burns diesel or kerosene in a 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber rated to 1000°C and blows the heated air straight into the working area through a high-power enclosed fan, so heat arrives within seconds of ignition. Direct-fired units raise the incoming air temperature by 40–60°C and are intended for well-ventilated sites with an air change rate high enough to carry the combustion products away — construction and renovation work, workshops, warehouses, barns, factories, dock yards and rail or road works. 30kW Diesel Forced Air Heater for Workshop Floors
The FS30-19A is a 30 kW diesel forced air heater, the output that general workshop heating most often settles on — large enough to hold a machine shop, a fabrication bay or a service hall at temperature, small enough to run economically where a 50 kW unit would cycle on and off.
Workshop floors are dusty places, and the fully enclosed motor is the detail that keeps that dust out of the bearings and the unit running through a full season. The 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber is rated to 1000 degrees C. Five protections are fitted as standard: overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light. Direct-fired operation means the combustion products travel with the heated air, so the space must be well ventilated. Fuel must be diesel or kerosene only.
