The FS30-19B is a 30kW direct-fired diesel and kerosene heater from our 10kW to 190kW forced-air range. It burns diesel or kerosene in a 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber rated to 1000°C and blows the heated air straight into the working area through a high-power enclosed fan, so heat arrives within seconds of ignition. Direct-fired units raise the incoming air temperature by 40–60°C and are intended for well-ventilated sites with an air change rate high enough to carry the combustion products away — construction and renovation work, workshops, warehouses, barns, factories, dock yards and rail or road works. 30kW Diesel Heater for Open-Fronted Work Areas
The FS30-19B is a 30 kW direct-fired diesel heater for work areas that are opened to the weather through the day — loading bays, yard-side workshops, livestock sheds and service areas where doors stand open and the outside air comes straight in.
A space that is constantly open is a different problem from a closed room: the heater has to replace the heat being lost continuously rather than hold a sealed volume, which is why forced air at high volume is the correct answer. Overheat cut-off is fitted so the unit protects itself when airflow is restricted or doors are closed against a running heater. The 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber is rated to 1000 degrees C, and the full protection set — overheat, heat dissipation, flameout, shutdown and error indicator — is built in. Fuel must be diesel or kerosene only.
