The FS30-23B is a 30kW direct-fired diesel and kerosene heater from our 10kW to 190kW forced-air range. It burns diesel or kerosene in a 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber rated to 1000°C and blows the heated air straight into the working area through a high-power enclosed fan, so heat arrives within seconds of ignition. Direct-fired units raise the incoming air temperature by 40–60°C and are intended for well-ventilated sites with an air change rate high enough to carry the combustion products away — construction and renovation work, workshops, warehouses, barns, factories, dock yards and rail or road works. 30kW Diesel Heater for Renovation and Building Work
The FS30-23B is a 30 kW direct-fired diesel heater aimed at renovation projects, where building work creates draughts through missing walls, open stairwells and unglazed openings, and where the heating requirement changes from week to week as the job progresses.
Efficiency is what matters on a renovation site because the unit may run all day for months: the combustion system is set up so almost all of the fuel becomes usable heat rather than waste gas out of the exhaust. The 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber is rated to 1000 degrees C, so the flame-side metal survives continuous daily running. Five protections are fitted — overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light — and the space must be well ventilated because the unit is direct-fired. Fuel must be diesel or kerosene only.
