Unlike a direct-fired unit, the flame heats a stainless steel heat exchanger and the flue gases are ducted away separately, so the air delivered into the room is clean, dry and free of combustion products. 50kW Indirect Diesel Heater for Painting and Coating
The FS50-19BI is a 50 kW indirect-fired diesel heater built for environments where painting and coating work is going on — spray booths, paint shops, coating lines and preparation areas — where airborne overspray and solvent vapour make a direct-fired heater unusable.
Solvent vapour plus an open flame in the same air stream is a safety problem, and a direct-fired unit would also carry combustion products into the wet film and leave defects in the finish. Indirect firing separates the flame from the air stream through a heat exchanger, so the air delivered to the booth is clean and dry. The thermostat holds a stable process temperature, which matters for curing consistency from one batch to the next. The 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber is rated to 1000 degrees C, and the full protection set — overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light — is fitted. Fuel must be diesel or kerosene only.
