The FS50-23B is a 50kW direct-fired diesel and kerosene heater from our 10kW to 190kW forced-air range. It burns diesel or kerosene in a 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber rated to 1000°C and blows the heated air straight into the working area through a high-power enclosed fan, so heat arrives within seconds of ignition. Direct-fired units raise the incoming air temperature by 40–60°C and are intended for well-ventilated sites with an air change rate high enough to carry the combustion products away — construction and renovation work, workshops, warehouses, barns, factories, dock yards and rail or road works. 50kW Diesel Heater for Dock Yards and Rail Works
The FS50-23B is a 50 kW direct-fired diesel heater for semi-outdoor working areas — dock yards, rail works, civil engineering sites and yard operations where the work is outside but the crew needs a warm position and the equipment must survive being used in the open.
Semi-outdoor duty demands a pump and combustion system built for continuous daily running rather than occasional use, which is how this model is specified: the fuel path and burner are sized for a full working day, every day, through a winter contract. The 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber is rated to 1000 degrees C. Five protections are fitted — overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light. Fuel must be diesel or kerosene only, and where the unit runs in an enclosed space that space must be well ventilated.
