The FS80-20C is a 80kW direct-fired diesel and kerosene heater from our 10kW to 190kW forced-air range. It burns diesel or kerosene in a 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber rated to 1000°C and blows the heated air straight into the working area through a high-power enclosed fan, so heat arrives within seconds of ignition. Direct-fired units raise the incoming air temperature by 40–60°C and are intended for well-ventilated sites with an air change rate high enough to carry the combustion products away — construction and renovation work, workshops, warehouses, barns, factories, dock yards and rail or road works. The FS80-20C is the entry point of the high-output range at 80 kW — the size where a single heater can carry a large production hall, an aircraft hangar bay, a big distribution warehouse or a full industrial unit rather than a section of one.
At this output the combustion system itself is the engineering question: the burner has to keep the fuel burning cleanly at sustained maximum, because incomplete combustion at 80 kW produces smoke, soot and wasted fuel at a rate no operator will tolerate. That setup is what this model is built around. The 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber is rated to 1000 degrees C, and the full protection set — overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light — is fitted. Direct-fired operation requires well ventilated space. Fuel must be diesel or kerosene only.
