Industrial Kerosene Heater 9 Models, 30–190 kW
An industrial kerosene heater is specified by the size of the space and by whether people are working in it. 9 of our 28 diesel and kerosene models list an industrial application — factory floors, production workshops, aircraft hangars, shipyards, steel fabrication shops and the largest project halls. Output runs 30 kW to 190 kW, or 102,364 to 648,307 BTU/h.
The 7 direct-fired models in this group move the most air for the least money and are the ones used in high, well-ventilated buildings: the FS190-20C at 190 kW is the most powerful heater we build. The 2 indirect-fired models in the group exist for the opposite case — 3 of the 9 are specified where air quality, humidity or dust control is part of the job, because the flue gases never enter the heated air.
Build is common across the group rather than graded by price: 441-grade stainless steel combustion chambers rated to 1000°C, overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light on every model, and an electrical load that covers only the fan motor, ignition and fuel pump. Every model on this page is built for diesel or kerosene only — no model here is approved for petrol or bio-oil.

What an Industrial Kerosene Heater Is Specified For
Industrial buyers are matching output to a volume, and firing type to what else is in the air.
Factory floors and production workshops
The largest group in this range. 9 of our 28 models list an industrial application, from 30 kW up to 190 kW.
Shipyards, steel and fabrication shops
High, draughty buildings that are heated by air volume rather than by surface temperature. The 7 direct-fired models here are built for exactly that.
Hangars, halls and clean-air process areas
Where humidity, coating or dust control matters, the 2 indirect-fired models in this group deliver heat without putting combustion product into the room.

Industrial Kerosene Heaters — Common Questions
How many kW do I need for an industrial space?
This range runs 30 kW to 190 kW. Volume and ventilation decide it: a sealed workshop needs far less than an open-fronted bay of the same floor area. Send us the dimensions and we will size it.
Direct or indirect fired for a factory?
7 of the 9 models here are direct fired and 2 are indirect. If people work in the space all day, or if there is dust, coating or food in the air, specify indirect. If the building is high and ventilated, direct is cheaper per kW delivered.
What is the largest industrial heater you make?
The FS190-20C at 190 kW, or 648,307 BTU/h. The smallest model on this page is the FS30-19A at 30 kW.
Can these run on kerosene as well as diesel?
Yes. All 9 models are built for diesel or kerosene. Petrol and bio-oil are excluded on every specification sheet in this category.
Do the indirect-fired models need a flue?
Yes — all 2 of them require the combustion gases to be ducted outside. The 7 direct-fired models do not; they are used with ventilation.
Are these suitable for occupied production areas?
The 2 indirect-fired models are: the flame never touches the delivered air. Direct-fired units are for ventilated buildings. See the full diesel and kerosene range to compare.
