Kerosene Diesel Heater 28 Models, 10–190 kW
A kerosene diesel heater is the answer where mains power will not reach or where electric heat is simply too expensive to run at scale. We build 28 models in this category, from 10 kW up to 190 kW — 34,121 to 648,307 BTU/h — and every one of them runs on the diesel or kerosene already kept on site rather than on a fuel you have to source separately.
The range splits on how the heat reaches the room. 20 models are direct fired: an open flame heats the air stream and a fan delivers it, which is the fastest and cheapest way to move a large volume of warm air. 8 are indirect fired: the flame heats a stainless steel heat exchanger and the flue gases are ducted away separately, so the air delivered is clean and dry. That second group is the one specified for occupied workshops, food areas, paint shops and greenhouses.
Output is stepped rather than continuous, in 10 steps across the range: 10, 20, 30, 50, 60, 80, 100, 115, 150, 190 kW. Every model carries a 441-grade stainless steel combustion chamber rated to 1000°C, the same multi-stage safety package — overheat cut-off, heat-dissipation protection, flameout protection, shutdown protection and an error indicator light — and an electrical load limited to the fan motor, ignition and fuel pump. Every model on this page is built for diesel or kerosene only — no model here is approved for petrol or bio-oil.

What a Diesel or Kerosene Heater Is Specified For
Fuel-fired heat wins where the space is large, uninsulated, or has no electrical capacity for the kW you actually need.
Workshops, warehouses and factory aisles
10 of the 28 models list a workshop as their primary application and 6 list warehousing or storage. The FS190-20C at 190 kW is the top of the range.
Construction sites and renovation work
6 models are specified for site huts, site accommodation, renovation drying and temporary site offices. See the construction kerosene heater page.
Occupied and clean-air spaces
8 indirect-fired models deliver heat with no combustion product in the air stream, which is what occupied workshops, food areas and paint shops require.

Diesel and Kerosene Heaters — Common Questions
Can these heaters run on both diesel and kerosene?
Yes — all 28 models on this page are built for diesel or kerosene. What they are not built for is petrol or bio-oil: every specification sheet states that explicitly, and using either will void the burner warranty.
What is the difference between direct and indirect fired?
A direct-fired unit passes the flame into the air stream, so it heats fast and moves a large volume of air but adds combustion products and moisture to the room. An indirect-fired unit heats a heat exchanger and ducts the flue gases away, so the delivered air is clean and dry. We build 20 direct and 8 indirect.
How many BTU is a diesel heater?
Across this range, 34,121 to 648,307 BTU/h. The figures are the published kilowatt ratings converted at 1 kW = 3,412.14 BTU/h, so a 190 kW unit is 648,307 BTU/h.
Do I need a flue?
For the 8 indirect-fired models, yes — the specification sheet requires the combustion gases to be ducted outside. For the 20 direct-fired models there is no flue; they are used with ventilation instead.
Where does the electricity go?
Only to the fan motor, the ignition and the fuel pump. It is a fraction of the heat output, which is why a fuel-fired heater stays viable where a 190 kW electric load would not.
Which model should I start with?
The FS10-21A at 10 kW is the smallest body and the FS190-20C at 190 kW the largest. If the space is occupied or dust-sensitive, start with the industrial kerosene heater range and pick an indirect-fired model.
