LPG Gas Heater 11 Models
An LPG gas heater is a room heater that takes its fuel from a liquefied petroleum gas cylinder rather than from mains electricity or a plumbed gas line.
Our gas range is built around an LPG and propane platform. The same bodies are produced for natural gas and butane supply, so the fuel you burn is a configuration decision rather than a different product: tell us the fuel, the local cylinder connection and the destination market, and the burner jetting and regulator are specified to suit.
The 11 models below span 1.5 kW to 4.2 kW. Most are vent-free room heaters for living rooms, bedrooms and small rooms; two are compact carry-away units and one is wall mounted. Every one of them carries the two safety systems this range is built on: a flame-failure device that shuts the gas flow off within 30 seconds if the flame goes out, and an oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) that shuts the heater down when oxygen in the room drops — which is what makes a vent-free heater usable in a poorly ventilated room.

How Indoor Gas Heaters Are Classified
Indoor gas heaters split into two ventilation systems, and that choice decides which model suits a given building.
Vent-free / non-flued
No chimney and no wall opening. Safe indoors because the oxygen depletion sensor monitors room oxygen and shuts the unit down before it becomes unsafe. All 11 models in this group are built this way.
Fuel
The range runs on liquefied petroleum gas, propane or butane. Gas power and jetting are set at the factory for the fuel and the market you specify.
Cylinder and regulator
The regulator, hose and cylinder connection are market-specific. Tell us the destination country and we will confirm which connection the heater ships with.
One Model in the Gas Category Is Liquid-Fuel
Our Gas Heaters category also holds the FS-909, which burns kerosene rather than gas. It is not listed above because it is not an LPG model — it belongs with the liquid-fuel range.

LPG Gas Heaters — Common Questions
What is an LPG gas heater?
A space heater that burns liquefied petroleum gas from a cylinder instead of using electricity or a plumbed gas supply. The flame heats the air locally and the warm air then disperses through the room by convection.
Can an LPG heater be used indoors?
Yes — a vent-free LPG heater is designed for indoor use and carries an oxygen depletion sensor that shuts the unit down if room oxygen falls. It must still be used with the ventilation your local installation code requires for unvented gas appliances.
What is the difference between LPG, propane and butane?
They are all liquefied petroleum gases supplied in cylinders. Propane and butane are the two pure gases; LPG is the general name for a propane/butane mix. Butane does not vaporise well below about 0 °C, so cold-climate markets specify propane. Tell us the fuel your market sells and the burner is jetted to match.
Are all of these models vent-free?
Every model listed on this page is a vent-free gas heater and needs no flue. The only member of the Gas Heaters category that is not on this page is the liquid-fuel FS-909, which burns kerosene.
How much gas does an LPG heater use?
Measured figures in this group are FS-021 152g/h · FS-74 240g/h · FS4A 260g/h. Consumption scales with the setting you choose, so an adjustable heater burns proportionally less at its lower setting than at its top setting.
How many units fit in a 40HQ container?
Between 540 and 10,500 pieces depending on the model, because the compact units pack far more densely than the tall cabinet bodies. The specification table above lists the exact figure for every model.
