The FS101 is a portable electric fan heater with an adjustable thermostat, combining two heat settings — 1000W and 2000W — with a cool, warm and hot wind selector so the unit covers summer ventilation as well as winter heating. The fan forces warm air out into the room quickly rather than waiting for it to rise, which is what makes a fan heater the right choice when you want the room comfortable now rather than in half an hour.

The three-position wind selector is what separates this from a plain room heater. Cool is ventilation, warm is gentle background heat, and hot is full output — so the unit stays in use across the year rather than being a seasonal purchase, and the thermostat holds whichever setting you leave it on.
