Portable Kerosene Heater All 4 Models Carry by Hand, from 4.2 kg
A portable kerosene heater is judged on two numbers before anything else: what it weighs and how much floor it takes. All 4 models we build answer both the same way — 4.2 to 4.7 kg net, 5.0 to 5.5 kg gross, on a 315 × 315 mm base, with no installation, no flue and no fixed connection of any kind.
That matters because the fuel is the heaviest part of the job. FS-229 and FS-229A hold 4.6 L of kerosene and FS-2310 and FS-707 hold 6.0 L; the larger tank keeps a unit running longer between fills, the smaller one keeps each refill lighter to carry. Either way the heater itself stays light enough that the limiting weight is the fuel you put in it, not the appliance you move.
The form factor is deliberate. A 315 mm square body fits through a doorway and into a car boot, FS-229 is specified with a carry handle and automatic ignition so it can be lit without matches, and all four use a glass fibre wick rather than an element, so there is nothing in the unit that can be damaged by being carried. Packing is one to a carton, 1,335–1,440 pcs per 40HQ.

Portable Kerosene Heaters at a Glance
Portability here is a measured property, not a marketing word: every model in the range is 4.2–4.7 kg net, 5.0–5.5 kg gross, and stands on the same 315 mm square base.

Packing and Container Loading
All four pack one to a carton. The FS-2310 is the only model with a larger 325 × 325 × 460 mm gift box, and it is also the only one that loads 1,335 pcs per 40HQ instead of 1,440.
Every model ships one piece to a gift box and one piece to a carton, so the 40HQ figure below is both the piece count and the carton count — there is no separate carton column to read.
Where a Portable Kerosene Heater Sells
One appliance, several rooms and one car boot: this is the format that sells where heat has to follow the people.
Tents, caravans and cabins
At 4.2 kg net with a 315 mm base it goes where the trip goes, and the feature list on all four models names camping and tent warming outright.
Garages and workshops
The unit is carried to the work, heated while you are in it, and shut down when you leave — no permanent install in a space that is not heated all day.
Channel and DIY retail
One model number covers a boxed appliance that lifts off a shelf, needs no assembly and needs no licensed fitting, which keeps the returns rate low.

Portable Kerosene Heaters — Common Questions
How heavy is a portable kerosene heater?
4.2 to 4.7 kg net and 5.0 to 5.5 kg gross across the four models — the FS-707 is the lightest and the FS-2310 the heaviest. Add the fuel: 4.6 L on FS-229 and FS-229A or 6.0 L on FS-2310 and FS-707.
Does it need to be installed or vented to outside?
No. There is no flue, no duct and no mains connection, which is the point of the format. The room still needs a source of fresh air while the burner runs, because this is an unvented appliance.
Can it be carried while lit?
No — shut the burner down and let it cool before moving it. That is what the tip-over switch on FS-2310 and FS-229A guards against, not a licence to carry a lit unit.
Which model has a handle and automatic ignition?
FS-229. It is the only one of the four specified with a carry handle and automatic ignition; the other three are lit at the wick in the usual way.
How many fit in a 40HQ container?
1,335 to 1,440 pcs. Three models reach 1,440 pcs on a 325 × 325 × 445 mm gift box; the FS-2310 is taller at 315 × 315 × 445 mm and loads 1,335 pcs.
Is a portable kerosene heater the same as a patio heater?
No. A patio heater of the gas type is a different appliance and a different category — see outdoor patio heaters. These four are indoor-rated wick units with a warming plate top.
