FirstSight ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through nbchic.com, why we collect it, how we protect it and the choices you have. We never sell your personal data.
1. Who We Are
FirstSight is a heating appliance manufacturer based at NO 887 Guanfu Road, Cixi, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. For any privacy question, contact sales@nbchic.com.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us — when you submit an inquiry, request a quote, apply for samples or subscribe to updates:
- Name, job title and company name
- Business email address, telephone / WhatsApp number
- Country and delivery destination
- Product interest, quantity and any message you send us
Information collected automatically — IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed and time spent, collected via cookies and analytics tools.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To reply to your inquiry and prepare quotations
- To process orders, arrange shipping and provide after-sales support
- To send order updates and, with your consent, product news
- To improve our website and understand which products are of most interest
- To meet legal, tax and customs documentation requirements
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data on the basis of: (a) performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering a contract; (b) our legitimate interest in operating a B2B business; (c) your consent, where you have given it (for example marketing emails); and (d) compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We only share it with:
- Freight forwarders, customs brokers and couriers — for shipping your order
- Certification bodies (SGS, TÜV, Intertek) — where a certificate must name the applicant
- Payment and banking partners — to process T/T or L/C payments
- IT and email service providers — to operate this website
Each party is engaged only to the extent necessary and is bound by confidentiality obligations.
6. International Transfers
As a manufacturer serving global markets, your information may be processed in China and in the country where you are located. We take appropriate safeguards to protect your data regardless of where it is processed.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
Business inquiry records are kept for up to 3 years from last contact. Order, invoice and customs records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and trade law (typically 5 – 7 years). Marketing contacts are removed as soon as you opt out.
8. Security
We protect your data with HTTPS encryption in transit, restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis, and regular backups. While no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure, we work continuously to keep your information safe.
9. Cookies
Our site uses essential cookies to keep the site working, and analytics cookies to understand visitor behaviour. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not function as intended.
Analytics tools we use
These are the specific tools behind the "analytics cookies" mentioned above: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity. GA4 tells us which pages visitors read and which categories they browse, so we can improve the catalogue. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_, which store an identifier so repeat visits from the same browser count as one visit. IP addresses are anonymised before storage, and we do not use it for advertising profiles or retargeting. Microsoft Clarity records how visitors move around a page (session replays, heat maps, scroll depth) so we can spot pages that are confusing. It is loaded only after you accept analytics cookies.
No advertising network, no remarketing tag and no cross-site tracking cookie is installed on this website.
How we ask for consent
Before any analytics cookie is set, this site shows a banner offering "Accept" and "Reject" as equally prominent choices. If you choose Reject (or simply dismiss the banner with the Esc key), analytics storage stays off and no analytics cookie is written. Until you choose, nothing analytics-related is stored.
If you accept, we store one cookie named nbchic_consent that records your choice ("granted" or "denied"). It contains nothing else — no identifier, no IP address, no timestamp.
You can change your mind at any time: the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer reopens the banner. We also honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal your browser may send, treating it as a rejection.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to, or request restriction of, processing
- Withdraw consent for marketing at any time
