The FS-906 is a portable PTC ceramic space heater that balances a smaller footprint with serious output, running up to 1800W with a lower setting for milder days. Ceramic elements hold their temperature more consistently than a bare coil and cannot overheat to the point of glowing, which is why PTC models are usually the ones recommended for a bedroom or an office where the heater runs unattended. The front grille keeps fingers and objects clear of the element and fan.

The grille is not decorative — it stands the element and blades off far enough that a dropped towel or a reaching hand cannot touch either. Combined with the self-limiting ceramic element, that is the reason this class of heater is the one we recommend when the unit will run in a bedroom with someone asleep in it.
