Shipping Policy
Transparent terms for our global B2B partners

This policy explains production lead times, shipping methods, trade terms and documentation for all FirstSight orders. It applies to sample, trial and bulk orders shipped from our factory in Cixi, Ningbo, China.
1. Order Types & Lead Time

Lead times are counted from the date the deposit is received and, where applicable, from final approval of packaging artwork and product samples. Peak season (August – November) may add 5 – 10 working days; we will confirm the exact schedule in your proforma invoice.
2. Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
- Standard models: 500 – 1,000 pcs per model (mixed models allowed per container).
- OEM branding / custom colour: 1,000 pcs per model.
- Sample orders: 1 – 10 pcs available for evaluation.
- MOQ can be negotiated for first-time partners and mixed-container orders.
3. Shipping Methods
- Sea freight (FCL) — 20GP / 40GP / 40HQ, the most economical choice for full containers.
- Sea freight (LCL) — consolidated container for smaller volumes.
- Air freight — for urgent orders, typically 5 – 8 days transit.
- Express courier — DHL / FedEx / UPS for samples and spare parts, 3 – 6 days door to door.
We can ship under your own forwarder account or arrange freight through our long-term partners with competitive contract rates.
4. Ports & Trade Terms
- Port of loading: Ningbo or Shanghai, China.
- Incoterms 2020 available: EXW, FCA, FOB, CFR, CIF, DAP and DDP.
- Default quotation basis is FOB Ningbo in USD unless otherwise agreed.
5. Payment Terms
- T/T: 30% deposit before production, 70% balance before shipment (standard).
- L/C at sight: accepted for orders above USD 50,000.
- Samples: 100% prepaid; the sample fee is deductible from your first bulk order.
- Long-term partners may apply for O/A terms after 3 successful orders.
6. Packaging & Labelling
Standard packing is a 5-layer export carton with foam and poly-foam protection, palletised on request. We provide free OEM packaging design including carton artwork, colour gift box, user manual and barcode / EAN labelling in your local language.
7. Shipping Documents Provided
- Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading / Air Waybill
- Certificate of Origin (CO / FORM F / FORM E where applicable)
- Test reports and certificates: CE (LVD / EMC), CB, GS, UKCA, RoHS, ERP
- Insurance policy (for CIF shipments)
8. Delay, Damage & Shortage Claims
Please inspect goods on arrival. Any shortage, visible damage or quantity discrepancy must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt with photos of the outer carton, the shipping mark and the affected goods. We will file the claim with the carrier and, where the claim is accepted, arrange replacement parts or a credit note at no cost to you.
9. Force Majeure
FirstSight is not liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, war, strikes, port congestion, customs policy changes or carrier bankruptcy. We will notify you promptly and propose the best available alternative.
